Join Storion Energy and help us power the future of stored energy!
Storion Energy is hiring a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on automated assembly to join our corporate engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. Storion is a battery component manufacturer specializing in vanadium electrolyte production and assembly of stack-power assemblies that serve the flow battery industry in the US. We strive to drive flow battery adoption through cost-effective, readily available electrochemical components required for large-scale flow batteries.
Reporting through the manufacturing engineering team, you will be a key contributor to the design, build, and continuous improvement of automated assembly systems and manufacturing equipment. You will work alongside chemical, electrical, and controls engineers as we scale a novel production process from pilot to full operations. This role sits at the intersection of mechanical design and automation – we are looking for someone equally comfortable designing a fixture as they are specifying a motion system or integrating a vision sensor.
As a small company, there are always opportunities to make a difference and grow. Storion has an engineering career progression ladder that allows engineers to progress in the organization in either an individual contributor or managerial role.
